Hachette to publish two new Pokémon titles for 2017

Hachette Children’s Group’s Orchard Books is to publish a further two Pokémon titles, following the sell-out success of it initial book series.

The new printed titles – Pokémon: Legendary 1001 Stickers and Pokémon: Sticker Activity Book – are expected to land on shelves in February and March 2017 respectively.

Earlier this year the Hachette Children’s Group launched a run of three Pokémon titles, developed in partnership with the Pokémon Company International.

Pokémon Creative Colouring, The Pokémon Encyclopedia and The Pokémon Sticker Book have already proved to be popular titles among fans, with an average of over 1000 copies of The Pokémon Encyclopedia selling a day.

Katie Price, licensing director, Hachette Children’s Group, said: “We are thrilled with the initial sales of the first three titles.

“With a new Pokémon video game out this November, the momentum behind Pokémon continues and we believe there is huge demand for a broader range of publishing under this license.”
