Happy Ink will expand contracts and secure new partners for Hamsta World

Happy Ink has detailed its plans to expand contracts and add new licensees and agents for its increasingly popular IP, Hamsta World.

The firms is building a global footprint for the property with partnerships with the likes of BlueSky Design who’s collection of products has already secured Hamsta World a presence in Primark stores across Europe.

Meanwhile, Empire apparel Trading Co, has found its products listed at Jay Jays stores across the Australian territory.

Created in Amsterdam by Saskia Keiser, Hamsta embarked on its licensing programme just over a year ago. Since its launch, the brand has secured international partners and presence in over 34 countries and seven territories.

The number of partners and agents on board continues to expand in line with Keiser and Happy Inbk’s growth plans for the brand.

“In the ever-evolving business of licensing, it is quite the challenge to launch a new brand. However, I fully believe in Hamsta World’s magical appeal to kids aged nine and upwards,” said Jacqueline Hofman, international licensing director of Happy Ink.

“Being a relatively small company, it allows us to move fast and adapt where necessary. Making it fun and possible to keep on top of kids’ movements and spot trends early.”

Keiser added: “It has been a roller-coaster ride, full of amazing meetings, product development and first products in stores, all in a little over a year. With some of the biggest and most wonderful partners one could ask for, I am humbled.”
