Hasbro’s Transformers: Robots in Disguise lands on CITV

CITV is celebrating the arrival of the first series of Hasbro Studio’s Transformers: Robots in Disguise.

The cartoon series lands on the popular children’s network today and with 26 episodes, will air at 7.45 on weekday mornings.

Transformers: Robots in Disguise follows Bumblebee as he is summoned by Optimus Prime to save Earth from a faction of escaped Decepticon prisoners.

Bumblebee will be joined by a cast of Autobots, including Sidewipe, Strongarm, Dinobot, Grimlock and Mini-Con Fixit.

The show – which has been commissioned for two full series and a movie – originally aired on Cartoon Network in March 2015. The second series will air in March 2016.

Fans of the show will be able to download the toy compatible Transformers: Robots in Disguise app from iTunes of Google Play store, allowing users to engage with an interactive mobile gaming experience.
