Hello Kitty Café opens doors in California

The first permanent Hello Kitty Café has opened its doors in California, boating all sorts of treats inspired by the character.

Based inside Westfield Santa Anita Mall in Arcadia, California, fans can get their hands on cakes, doughnuts and macaroons, as well as Hello Kitty-inspired accessories.

Boasting Hello Kitty’s iconic pink and white aesthetic, the café also features a range of drinks from rosewater iced tea and strawberry mint lemonade to passionfruit iced tea.

A citrus Hello Kitty pastry tart will also make its debut later this year, for fans looking for something a little bit different.

No seats are included in the café, however that didn’t stop fans from queuing for six hours prior to the café’s opening.
