Henson acquires global rights to Norway’s hit kids property, Elias

Jim Henson’s HIP licensing banner has secured the global distribution and products rights to Norway’s hit children’s property, Elias.

In a deal with Norwegian firm, Animado,, Henson Independent Properties will distribute the new animated series, Elias: Rescue Team Adventures and consumer products internationally.

Based on the children’s picture book, Elias is a CGI animated rescue boat. Currently in production at Caoz Animation, the new series will make its debut at MIP Jr. this year.

HIP’s consumer products team will also unveil the property to the international licensing community at Brand Licensing Expo in London in October.
