Hoho cooks up Shane the Chef animated series

Hoho Entertainment has commenced production on Shane the Chef, a new 52 x 11′ animated pre-school series, it has announced. The series will be shown on Channel 5’s Milkshake and will follow the foody adventures of an energetic chef, Shane and his young daughter Izzy.

Entirely produced in the UK, Shane the Chef is being animated by Cloth Cat Animation in Cardiff, with the first episodes scheduled for delivery this Autumn. The series, which has received production funding from Creative Europe and is being supported by the Children’s Food Trust, has already attracted significant interest from international broadcasters

"We can’t wait to put on our aprons, roll up our sleeves and start mixing the ingredients to make Shane the Chef a great success," Oliver Ellis, Joint Managing Director at HoHo Entertainment. "It’s the perfect recipe for children to explore fresh food and healthy eating”.
