Homewares specialist Zak signs European deal with Warner Bros. Consumer Products

Warner Bros. Consumer Products EMEA has secured a new multi-property deal with the homewares specialist Zak.

An extension to Zak’s existing US licensing partnership with the studio, the new pan-European deal will see Zak launch a range of lunch ware, dinner ware and beverage items.

It will span iconic brands such as Harry Potter, Batman – as the brand celebrates its 80th anniversary – and the popular sitcom Friends.

The ZAK collections will optimise many different finishes and features including foil prints, lenticular and 3D effects plus eco-friendly bamboo and recyclable materials. All products are BPA free and re-usable.

Key lines from the Autumn Winter 2019/2020 collections, targeting kids, teens and Millennials, are set to preview at Ambiente, Frankfurt (8-12February 2019) this week before launching at major retailers across Europe starting July 2019.

Chris Howard, head of licensing at Zak, said: "Warner Bros. Consumer Products’ rich portfolio is uniquely diverse and it provides our expert team with infinite inspiration to create product solutions for all consumers and their varying needs.

"We take huge pride in creating innovative, must have products and we look forward to launching these new lines that will embrace fun, wellbeing and emerging trends including growing demand for eco-friendly products."
