Novel Entertainment has secured a raft of licensing deals for its animated series Horrid Henry, as well as placement within a swathe of UK big name retailers.
Currently airing on Nickelodeon and Netflix in the UK as well as in 90 territories globally, Horrid Henry can now be found within the aisles of Asda, Morrisons, Matalan and Sainsbury’s thanks to a renewed partnership with Rubie’s.
This is joined by a nw signing with Texco who is launching a new line of Horrid Henry bedding, while Cooneen is developing a line of pyjamas at retail in Asda. A new range of Horrid Henry glasses are available through the NHS voucher scheme following a deal secured with Clear Vision.
Meanwhile, Paul Lamond has extended its agreement for board games and puzzles, P2 Games has agreed to a new licence for its gaming app and Fabric Flavours is now in its 12th year as licensing partner for Horrid Henry shirts.
The recent licensing deals were brokered by Novel licensing agent Caroline Mickler Ltd.
Novel’s four-time BAFTA-nominated TV series is one of the biggest children’s animated shows in the UK. The fifth season is currently on air in the UK and the brand has been extended to include film, stage, radio and online extensions, as well as being at the heart of a successful licensing and merchandising programme.
