Imira Entertainment launches popular kids’ shows on Movistar España

Imira Entertainment has signed a deal with Telefonica to launch several of its popular children’s series to Movistar España VOD platforms.

The deal will see the launch of shows such as Lola & Virginia, Larva season two and Vitaminix all launch on the platform this summer.

The partnership will also see the first season of Lucky Fred (pictured above) make its debut on the platform.

Each series is now available to Movistar TV subscribers in Spain for TV, computer and mobile devices.

Sergi Reitg, CEO of Imira Entertainment, said: “Imira Entertainment is committed to catering for new opportunities opening up with non-traditional platforms and this deal with Telefonica represents the buying potential of these new platforms.

“Our original series, which have sold internationally, have a common vibrant and engaging quality which means they are a natural fit for accessible kids’ entertainment providers seeking proven content.”
