Immediate Media lines up Peter Rabbit Magazine

Immediate Media is launching a new Peter Rabbit Magazine on April 9th.

Based on Beatrix Potter’s popular children’s book characters – reimagined in a Cbeebies animation – Peter Rabbit Magazine aims to encourage three to five year olds to explore and play outside, while nurturing an interest in nature and wildlife.

It features activities such as colouring, puzzles, sticking and creating, while each page will support an area of the Early Years Curriculum. The magazine is expected to deliver over £1.4 million retail sales value to UK retailers.

Retailing at £2.50, each issue of the four-weekly title will come with bespoke stickers, a special pullout story and a free gift. The launch issue will come with a special springtime adventure section that teaches children about the nature and wildlife they can explore outside now.

To support the launch, Immediate has produced branded POS packs for the leading independent stores.

"Peter Rabbit is a magical educational magazine for three to five year old boys and girls who have a hunger for radishes and a thirst for adventure," said Sara Oldham, editor of Peter Rabbit Magazine. "We’re delighted to be bringing this well loved brand to a new audience."
