Industry veteran Melanie Humberstone-Garley joins Larkshead Media

Licensing industry veteran Melanie Humberstone-Garley is joining Larkshead Media as the firm’s special consultant.

Bringing over 20 years’ experience to the role, Humberstone-Garley will focus on licensing opportunities for a number of the company’s properties, with an emphasis on softlines.

Prior to joining Larkshead, she held the position as director of MHG Licensing, her own consulting group, offering short and medium-term solutions for licensors, licensees, licensing agents and brand owners.

“I am thrilled to be working with Larkshead Media, a company that brings together wide-ranging industry experience and new ideas in a fresh and exciting approach to brands and licensing that is enormously appealing,” said Humberstone-Garley.

A well-known player in the licensing industry, she also has stints at Misirli UK Ltd, ITV Studios Global Entertainment Products and Chorion under her belt, as well as posts with agencies such as Those Characters from Cleveland, DRi, Entertainments Rights and The Copyrights Group.
