Pou, the popular virtual pet alien, is planning its move into consumer products as its owner Paul Salameh signs a new deal with Consumer Product Connections.
The alliance has been formed in order to develop Pou’s worldwide licensing programme.
The interactive app has already triumphed in the download charts, having secured the number one spot in more than 115 countries, including most of Europe, Russia, the US, Asia and Latin America.
Across Spain, Pou has already partnered with a number of leading food companies.
With the introduction of a number of SKUs in Europe and Russia, the brand is now seeing growth on a global scale.
Salameh said: “I am very excited to have partnered with consumer Product Connection to leverage the Pou brand on a global scale.
“I am positive that their success on the IP’s exploitation for Consumer Products will match with the app’s results worldwide.”
