ITVS GE launches new licensing programme for hit quiz show, Top Class

ITV Studios Global Entertainment has detailed the launch of a new licensing programme for its hit kids’ TV quiz show, Top Class.

Made by ITV Studios for CBBC, Top Class is presented by Susan Calman and features teams from schools competing to be the Top Class. In 2017, the quiz show reached 3.4 million viewers.

Questions featured on the show are linked to Key Stage 2 of the National Curriculum with subjects including maths, English, science, history, geography and news.

The fourth series of the show is already in production and is set to air AW18 with 15 30-minute episodes.

Trudi Hayward, SVP global head of merchandise at ITVS GE, said: “Top Class is already a well-established and trusted brand with a clear USP and target. We see fantastic potential for this series in the licensing market, particularly in publishing, toys and games, stationery and digital gaming.

“Licensees will have access to the extensive archive question bank as well as a style guide.”
