Text Santa has joined Digital Giving’s fund-raising initiativeT-shirt Booth as part of ITV’s christmas charity fundraising appeal.
The free to download app allows users to create personalised children’s T-shirts, featuring images of a character, the logo of the charity it supports and the photo of the child who will be wearing the t-shirt.
Shoppers who choose Santa’s Little Helpers for their t-shirts will be supporting Text Santa’s six chosen charities: Age UK, Barnardo’s, BeatBullying, British Heart Foundation, CLIC Sargent and Help the Hospices.
For every t-shirt sold, Digital Giving will give £2 and ITV Text Santa will donate a ten per cent royalty divided among the six charities.
Tracey Richardson, head of research at Digital Giving, said: "We are thrilled that Santa’s Little Helpers have joined the growing cast of characters in the T-shirt Booth app, all supporting good causes.
"ITV Text Santa is a terrific initiative, raising funds for wonderful charities. We hope that as many people as possible buy personalised T-shirts for their children to wear with their Text santa hats and Text Santa pin badges to show their support."
