Jago Studios releases blink and you’ll miss it trailer for Garbage Pail Kids mobile game

Indie mobile game developer, Jago Studios has released the first teaser trailer for a new app game based on the retro Topps IP, Garbage Pail Kids.

The fast paced trailer – and we mean fast – provides a five second look at the game’s characters, now animated in mobile gaming form while drawing on the heritage of the 80s trading card game.

As part of the promotion for last weekend’s Comic-Con San Diego, subscribers to gpkthegame.com were given advanced access to the video and were entered into a drawing for a plush blanket designed by Creepy Co and featuring the Garbage Pail Kid character, Adam Bomb.

“We love connecting with GPK fans and are excited to give them a first taste of battle,” said Stuart Drexler, Jago Studios founder and CEO. “We look forward to sharing more details about the game as development progresses.”

Garbag Pail Kids: The Game is an upcoming mobile card-battling RPG featuring characters from the collectable trading cards and stickrs originally issued by The Topps Company in the 1980s.

The free-to-play mobile game will be released worldwide on App Store and Google Play.
