Jazwares has been appointed master toy partner, while Penguin will release printed titles and DC Thomson gears up for a monthly magazine.

Jazwares, Penguin and DC Thomson sign with Danger Mouse

Jazwares, Penguin and DC Thomson have all signed as major licensing partners for the upcoming animated comedy series Danger Mouse.

In a raft of new deals with FremantleMedia Kids and Family Entertainment, the trio will bolster the animated series’ licensing portfolio with toys, printed books and a monthly magazine.

US toy company, Jazwares has been named as the master toy partner for the series and will launch a range of Danger Mouse toys across the UK, EU, Australia and New Zealand.

The toy company will then launch the range to North America and Latin America in the following months.

Meanwhile, Penguin has signed for publishing in all English speaking territories, excluding North America. The deal will see Penguin publish a range of printed books, including story books, official guides, sticker books, novelty books, annuals and electronic titles.

DC Thomson meanwhile will publish a monthly Danger Mouse magazine featuring comic strips, puzzles, fact files, poster and competitions. The title will be available across the UK and Eire.

The first products of the new raft of deals are expected to roll out at retail in the UK in 2016, following the launch of the new Danger Mouse show this autumn.

The series will then roll out internationally on Netflix from next spring.
