My client is a well-established producer and distributor of innovative educational toy products for the consumer market. With offices throughout Europe and the United States, their range of products are sold through high street multiples and independents, as well as on-line.
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Sales Manager to further develop their “business to business” sales career.
Working collaboratively with the MD and Marketing and leading a small sales team, you will be responsible for determining and executing the sales strategy which embraces the various sales channels. "Hands-on" in your approach, you will own a portfolio of retail accounts, building relationships and creating the business conditions for sustained growth.
Key responsibilities will include;-
· Developing and executing the sales account strategy
· Managing the detailed rolling 3-6 months sales plan, taking into account key variables such as seasonal demand.
· Relationship management
· Sales maximisation
· Team leadership and motivation
Demonstrating insightful financial and commercial analysis, you will work closely with other areas of the business to forecast and maximise sales and ensure customer satisfaction.
An excellent and persuasive communicator, you will have at least three years experience of selling to the retail sector, ideally gained within the toy, consumer electronics or similar industries.
