The Team Assistant is responsible for supporting the UK consumer products team to build and grow the business across NBCUniversal’s portfolio of Film, TV and Heritage franchises.

He/she will be the backbone of the UK consumer products team ensuring the smooth running of the department supporting across all business functions: leadership, category, retail, marketing, product development and creative.



•Implementing and maintaining databases, spreadsheets and tracking documents to support business needs (licensee lists, net sales analysis, listings documents etc)

•Creating and setting up new vendor accounts, raise purchase orders (using SAP) and coding invoices for payment, following through as required to ensure timely payment

•Organizing travel and accommodation arrangements for the department

•Keeping log and tracking expenses for Country Director

•Diary management

•Finding new ways to streamline processes

•Facilities duties, arranging couriers & post as needed

•Direct to Retail process support

•Support creation of visual catalogues to drive business and sell-in of brands (buyers guides, best in class product examples, top 10 product lines etc)

•Assist in the preparation of targeted pitch presentations and meetings for potential licensees, partners and retailers


•Distributing licensee lists, targeted newsletters, brand presentations and other sales materials where required

•Support Country Director and marketing manager in driving awareness of NBCU business and portfolio through trade PR initiatives

•Liaison with other business functions such as Theatrical, TV, Home Entertainment, Business Affairs, Finance


•Creating research documents and undertaking competitor analysis via regular retail visits

•Use data (e.g. Rights Logic, NPD, Euromonitor, Kantar) to analyse and support the local business


•Planning, arranging and presentation support at bi-annual partner days for 300+ attendees

•Organization of other B2B functions and events such as creative summits, retail summits, screenings, trade shows etc.

•Further responsibilities may be included as the business evolves


•Excellent administration skills coupled with the ability to balance and prioritize work coming in across the team

•Strong interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills

•Self-starter with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team

•Proactive and solution focused with high attention to detail

•Demonstrable ability to research and source ad hoc information independently

•Strong PC skills with Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint

•Ability to thrive in a start-up environment

•Flexible/ability to adjust to a fast paced and ever changing business environment

•An understanding of the consumer products business preferred but not compulsory
