Inspired by the books of Nick Butterworth, the animated series follows the adventures of an alien and his friends.

A giant floor Puzzle, Memo Game, Floor Game and Puzle and Colour will form the second and third phase of the range with all products suitable for kids aged three and upwards.

Katherine Pierce, marketing manager at Jumbo Games, said: "We are absolutely delighted to add Q Pootle 5 to our portfolio of popular children’s licensees.

"We’re huge fans of the popular children’s show and hope our colourful range of puzzles and games will be a hit with Q Pootle 5 lovers."

Ben Butterworth, Snapper Productions, added: "Since its launch on CBeebies earlier this year, Q Pootle 5 has been a hit with pre-schoolers and their families.

"We are very pleased to be partnering with Jumbo Games to extend the brand off screen and offer audiences more ways to engage with the show’s much loved characters."
