Jurassic World concert series on the way

Fans of the action-packed reboot Jurassic World will be able to enjoy a symphony orchestra performing the film’s score alongside the film, thanks to a new live concert tour on the way from Film Concerts Live!.

The film from Universal was released in 2015 and quickly became one of the highest grossing movies of all time. The film’s score was composed by renowned composer Michael Giacchino who has scored many film and TV projects including Pixar’s Up and TV phenomenon LOST.

The tour will roar to life on May 30th, at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. and will then hit the road, coming to various locations around the globe.

As scores from film, TV and video games have begun to gain recognition in Classical music circles in recent years, the popularity of live orchestral concerts has skyrocketed. Titles such as Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings and video game series Final Fantasy have already received multiple worldwide concert tours, with concerts for Game of Thrones, Star Trek and more confirmed for 2018.
