Kasabian and Leicester City Football Club partner on new clothing line

Leicester born rockers, Kasabian have teamed with its local Leicester City Football Club to launch a new capsule clothing collection.

In a partnership secured by the brand management company, Bravado, the iconic British band will launch the range this month.

Kasabian is vocal about its support for its hometown team, having performed at the Club’s Champions party at the end of the 2015/16 season, followed by two sold-out nights at King Power Stadium.

The Premier League club will now be working closely with with Kasabian on a new clothing range titled Kasabian for LCFC, designed by the band’s Sergio Pizzorno. The line will be available for pre-sale at www.lcfcdirect.com.

“It has been a true honour for us to design a range for the mighty LCFC with clothes that can be worn on the terraces or in the mosh pit,” said Pizzorno.

Head of retail at Leicester City football Club, Matt Payne, added: “At Leicester City Football Club we are always looking to launch innovative ranges and work with iconic brands and names; this collaboration with Kasabian definitely achieves this.

“We are really excited for the launch in June and we cannot wait for our supporters’ reaction.”

Kasabian for LCFC will see a selection of track jackets, slogan tees and retro football shirts available, all of which include the Leicester City Football Club crest and Kasabian logo, as well as incorporating the dates both the Foxes and Kasabian were formed.
