Kate & Mim-Mim readies for CBeebies debut

FremantleMedia Kids & Family Entertainment’s brand new pre-school animated series Kate & Mim-Mim debuts on CBeebies today at 5.30pm.

The series follows the fantastical adventures of five-year-old Kate and her toy bunny Mim-Mim as they travel to the fantasy world of Mimiloo, where Mim-Mim transforms into a larger-than-life playmate.

Kate & Mim-Mim is produced and developed by Nerd Corps Entertainment and FremantleMedia Kids & Family Entertainment holds the exclusive worldwide distribution and licensing rights to the property outside of Canada.

Ahead of its launch on CBeebies, Mim-Min entertained thousands of pre-school children at the Family Kingdom at Sunderland International Airshow.

Families were also able to meet Tree Fu Tom, and both shows were shown on the big screen in the main fly zone and both brands featured in the event map, which was distributed to over 100,000 people.

“We were so pleased to work with the Sunderland International Airshow to bring our fantastic pre-school characters to young families at their event," said Tessa Moore, SVP global brand management, FremantleMedia Kids & Family Entertainment.

"The show allowed us to build our relationship with existing Tree Fu Tom fans and establish Mim-Mim as a character to watch ahead of the show’s premiere on CBeebies.”

Chris Alexander, chief operating officer at Sunderland Live added: “We were delighted to have FremantleMedia Kids & Family Entertainment on site at Sunderland International Airshow as part of this year’s brand new Roker Park Family Kingdom.

"Both of their characters went down extremely well with the staggering numbers of visitors that attended this year’s event and we look forward to building on this partnership in the future."
