Popular children’s brand Tatty Teddy and My Blue Nose Friends has partnered with children’s charity Jean for Genes, to run a national competition judged by TV personality Katie Price.
The competition will launch on National Friendship Day on August 4th, asking kids to send in videos explaining why their best friend is so special to them.
Price’s favourite winning videos will then be announced on Jeans for Genes Day on September 20th this year.
The ten winners and their best friends will be invited to a private Tatty Teddy and My Blue Nose Friends themed party at Hamleys, offering treats and goodies to the lucky winners.
Katie Price, whose son Harvey has a genetic disorder, is a supporter of the Jeans for Genes campaign, a national appeal raising millions of pounds to help children with genetic disorders.
Supporting the campaign, a set of four collectable Tatty Teddy and My Blue Nose Friends key rings will be available in stores nationwide and online. All profits will got the children’s charity.
The key rings feature Tatty Teddy, Paws the Persian Cat, Blossom the Rabbit and Tatty Puppy and can be found at Hamleys, Laura Ashley, Cadbury World, a host of high street banks and building societies and other retail establishments.
