Kids’ book publisher Ameet secures Wizarding World deal with Warner

The global children’s book publisher Ameet has just signed a new partnership with Warner Bros Consumer Products to publish a Wizarding World of Harry Potter movie tie-in series.

The book series will feature colour and activity books and will launch in autumn 2019.

Ameet will create a range of colouring, creativity and sticker books based on the hit franchise, bringing in elements of both Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts films. All the books will contain new film-based and film-inspired artwork.

Eric Huang, VP and publisher at Ameet, told Licensing.biz that the publishing programme is “a dream come true for so many team members at Ameet.

“Most of us grew up reading the Harry Potter books, and some cite the series as the reason they pursued a career in publishing. The deluxe illustrations and engaging activities will be sure to delight a younger audience and the next generation of fans.”

This is the latest major license for Ameet who already has partnerships with the likes of The LEGO Group, Disney, Universal and Schleich.

Ameet will be exhibiting at the Frankfurt Book Fair to discuss partnership deals with publishers around the world.
