Kidscreen UK visitor count increases 25%

Kidscreen Summit 2013 attracted 25 per cent more attendees from the UK this year – and 15 per cent more from Europe overall.

The most significant growth came from Norway (up 75 per cent), Sweden (up 65 per cent), Germany (up 50 per cent) and Ireland (up 35 per cent).

This meant 67 per cent of Kidscreen Summit 2013’s delegates were based outside of the US. 

The New York event drew a crowd of more than 1,600 kids’ entertainment professionals earlier this month for four days of networking and learning.

More than 400 kids’ programming buyers attended the event, representing a 10 per cent increase over Kidscreen Summit 2012. They were joined by 929 content producers and distributors.

iKids, a Kidscreen Summit companion event that took place on February 4th, attracted 30 per cent more delegates this year.
