Kidtropolis NEC hailed ‘huge success’ as show makes Birmingham debut

Kidtropolis NEC has been hailed a ‘huge success’ by attendees to the event that took place over the weekend.

Running from Friday, April 6 to Sunday, April 8, Birmingham’s NEC welcomed over 21,000 visitors to the sell-out debut show, and delivered a ‘99 per cent success rate’ among children and parents.

Attendees were treated to a series of show events including The Enrtertainer’s Unboxing Zone that features YouTubers and the unboxing of product lines from Flair, Hasbro and Spin Master. Nintendo Switch was also packed throughout the show with a choice of games to play along with the Shopkins Treat Truck, I-Top and Brio, who all offered visitors free treats and activities.

Live performances from Kids’ MEGA star Kira Kosarin, Kidz Bop and Andy Day and the Odd Socks were also popular additions, as well as the 60-metre long inflatable obstacle course, the MEGA Magazine Roblox and Minecraft area, roller skating, inflatable slides, a penalty shootout with Birmingham City Football Club, Wasps Rugby Interactive Zone and more.

“The team worked extremely hard to deliver our debut event at the NEC. Of course there are improvements which we will strive to deliver to ensure Kidtropolis is even more awesome next time.
