Kimmidoll Collection has sold more than eight million products worldwide to date.
The collectable dolls are now sold in 60 countries since launching in 2008, and is licensed by Australian giftware company The Aird Group’s network of agents.
DRi Licensing’s Japanese-inspired lifestyle trend brand Kimmidoll will continue to increase its presence in the UK market in the coming months, too, with further licences in discussion for stationery, bags, publishing, toiletries and apparel.
DRi has already partnered with Enesco to bring a collectables and gifting range to market on Kimmidoll Collection and Kimmidoll Junior, with Kimmidoll Love following in autumn/winter 2013. Conversations are underway for listings with major High Street retailers.
With three distinct strands to the brand – Kimmidoll Collection, Kimmidoll Junior and Kimmidoll Love – it appeals to girls and young women of all ages, says DRi.
Following the success of Kimmidoll Collection, Kimmidoll Junior was launched in 2009 – targeting the four to ten year old girls’ market.
The brand has already reached children in over 45 countries, has been translated into 11 different languages and the website www.kimmidolljunior.com has received over 40 million hits since launch.
The latest addition to the Kimmidoll family – Kimmidoll Love, launched in 2012, securing the brand a strong presence in the tween girls market.
New products coming through this year include tin giftware from Elite Gift Boxes, greeting cards from UK Greetings and wallpaper, wallgraphics and canvas murals from Mantiburi. Later this year Portico Designs will unveil a new calendar.
