Over £6,000 raised for The Light Fund as industry hits the streets of North London.

Kinnerton triumphs at inaugural Summer Pub Treasure Walk

Last week saw 210 industry executives take to the streets of Kentish Town and Camden for the first ever Light Fund Summer Pub Treasure Walk.

Participants of the A-Z sponsored event walked a two-mile course (via five local pubs), ending up at the Camden Town brewery for food, drinks and networking.

Over £6,000 was raised for the industry charity.

The winners of the coveted tankard trophy was No Nuts Allowed (Kinnerton – pictured) with a score of 63 points. The winners of the Dead Parrot Award, with a less than impressive 20 points were team Fluid.

Light Fund committee member Ashley Holman commented: "On Thursday evening the sun came out to join the licensing industry’s finest and ensured they worked up a thirst that was suitably quenched by well-placed pubs and a brewey which even they couldn’t drink dry.
