Koko Rose Media to launch first Deer Little Forest app

Koko Rose Media has partnered with Playrific Inc to launch the first Deer Little Forest app.

The app – compatible with iOS and Adnroid mobile devices and tablets – features the distinctive Deer Little Forest artwork and material to construct 18 games including puzzles, colouring pages, drag and drop, memory cards and more.

The new launch also contains a digital book, a trailer of the TV show currently in development and a card making game based on the popular greeting cards created by Jo Rose.

The app will be available in the Googleplay, Kindle and the iTunes stores in mid-December, while pre-school magazine Get Busy will support the launch in its December issue.

“The whole team here is excited about the app because the images and stories are so beautiful and compelling,” said Beth Marcus, CEO of Playrific Inc.

“There really is nothing else like it on the market so we are very optimistic that it will stand out and quickly gain a loyal fan base.”

Lisa Hryniewicz, managing director of Koko Rose Media, added: “Playrific has created an absolutely beautiful and genuinely unique app from Jo’s signature artwork.

“The charm, creativity and personality of the brand have been perfectly translated into an entertaining app which kids will love.”

A Deer Little Forest pre-school TV series is currently in development, with a book penned by picture book veteran Alison Green and illustrated by Rose also on the way.

Meanwhile, a swathe of licences and agents have been signed on in 15 markets to date.
