La Compagnie des Petits gets new Pokémon clothing collection for kids

The Pokémon Company International is continuing its successful collaboration with French children’s fashion retailer La Compagnie des Petits with summer and winter capsule collections.

For ages 4–12, the summer collection including colourful T-shirts and denim shorts for boys, with window visibility for two weeks in all the French retailer’s stores, plus enhanced digital support with a Pokémon takeover of its website.

The winter nightwear collection will include a new boys’ and girls’ velvet pyjama set featuring playful, seasonal imagery of Pikachu. The winter line will also be supported by renewed window visibility in all stores, as well as another Pokémon website takeover.

In addition to France, Belgium, Luxembourg and Switzerland, the apparel will be available in Spain for the first time.

Fashion retailer La Compagnie des Petits is known across key European territories for its quality, colourful clothing for children ages 0–12.

The global phenomenon of Pokémon was first launched in Japan in 1996 as a role-playing game for Nintendo’s Game Boy system, reaching the United States and Europe in 1998–99.

Pokémon has since grown into one of the most popular entertainment properties in the world and has been named the No. 1 single licensed property by Licence Global for the past two years, reflecting an impressive $3.5 billion in global retail sales in 2017.
