Discovery Communications has revealed that Leigh Anne Brodsky is joining the firm as its new executive VP of Discovery Global Enterprises.
As part of her new role, Brodsky will oversee consumer products, location-based entertainment and program sales worldwide.
Brodsky joins the company from Peanuts Worldwide and Iconix Entertainment, where she held the position as MD.
During her time there, she oversaw the company’s global business and expanded the Iconix Entertainment division’s global portfolio, leading the acquisition and rebranding of Strawberry Shortcake.
Brodsky also served as president of Nickelodeon Consumer Products, where she oversaw its parent company Viacom’s global licensing and merchandising business.
