People Awards 2016: The winners!

Execs from across the licensing landscape came to South Kensington’s Millennium Gloucester hotel on Friday to celebrate this year’s People Awards.

One of the big winners of the night was Bulldog Licensing’s Rob Corney, who scooped Manager of the Year and Outstanding Contribution to Licensing, while Bulldog also picked up the award for Licensing Agent of the Year.

Elsewhere, BB-8 By Sphero and Disney was named as the Licensing Deal of the Year while The Point 1888 scooped Brand Extension & Beyond for its Innocent Headwear range with Oliver Bonas.

Another popular winner on the day was The Light Fund, who took home the award for Unsung Hero. The event also raised over £600 for the industry charity through a raffle held on the day.

“A big congratulations to all our winners, and a big thank you to everyone who came along to this year’s event” said editor Billy Langsworthy.

"Another thank you to all those that got involved in the raffle to help raise some cash for one of the night’s most popular winners, The Light Fund."
