Licensing Expo China celebrates successful launch with 35,000 visitors

Licensing Expo China has celebrated a successful opening year with more than 35,000 trade visitors in attendance. 80 exhibitors and 230 brands and licensing properties were on display at the expo, which took place on July 18th-20th July at Shanghai’s NECC.

The opening ribbon cutting ceremony was attended by Charles M. Riotto, president and CEO of LIMA, as well as industry leaders includingHong Ying, general manager, Licensing Unit & Entertainment Business, Alibaba; Claire Gilchrist, vice president, Asia-Pacific Marketing, Hasbro; Bo Zheng, chairman, China Brands Group; Xiaoxing Luo, general manager, Licensing Business Division, Alpha Group Co., Ltd. and many more.

Part of the UBM Licensing Group, Licensing Expo China joins other successful international shows including Licensing Expo Las Vegas, Brand Licensing Europe, Licensing Expo Japan, and NYC Summit.

The colourful events attracted many top brands including the likes of Mattel, Hasbro, Alpha, Fanta and many more.
