More than 100 people helped to raise just under £8,000 for charity at a special memorial day for Pauline Lonsdale.
Held on Friday September 14th at the Hallmark Hotel, Manchester, the evening covered various forms of entertainment including a pyjama fashion show staged by Aykroyds staff and children, including designs which Lonsdale had worked on.
The evening ended with an auction of over 44 lots, all of which had been donated by friends throughout the licensing industry.
The near £8,000 total - which will go to the Samantha Dickson Brain Tumour Trust - was helped along with a bike ride by a pair of Welsh characters, Arfan and Dilwyn, who cycled from Bala to the event.
Nigel Lonsdale, together with their two sons Michael and Robbie, also paid tribute to their wife and mother with the opening of a memorial garden at the Altrincham office that afternoon.
Earlier in the week, Pauline had been awarded the Honorary Achievement Award, along with David Aykroyd, at The Licensing Awards for more than 30 years service to the licensing business.
Pauline Lonsdale passed away on Christmas Eve 2011 after a battle with brain cancer.
