Acme Studio has rolled out the third instalment in its Beatles collection.

Through a series of timed releases, the collection will introduce nine individually numbered limited-edition pens commemorating each year that The Beatles were together, beginning in 1962.

Two pens will be released every six months, with edition numbering that matches the year depicted on the pen (1,962 pieces will be available for 1962, 1,966 for 1966, etc).

For each of the 13 UK albums released by the band, a pen and card case set packaged within miniature album covers will be introduced in editions of 1,000 pieces. Revolver, Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band and Magical Mystery Tour will be featured in the latest set. The first released included Please Please Me, With The Beatles and A Hard Day's Night.

Three of the 13 total sets will be released every six months.

Finally, the 'Singles' eyeglass case will be presented, featuring a collage of some of the most interesting singles covers which were done during The Beatles' career.

"The Beatles Collection is the most elaborate, most researched, the most comprehensive collection of Acme products that has ever been produced and the first Beatles products every to have been accepted into the permanent collection of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame," said Lesley Bailey, Acme's co-founder and VP. "We are incredibly proud to have licensed this iconic material."
