Allsorts adds Sprayground brand

Lifestyle property looking to expand the typical perception of graffiti and street art.

King Features - which is represented by Allsorts Licensing in the UK and ROI - has signed up lifestyle brand Sprayground.

Developed by New York-based founders Eddie Shabot and David Ben David, Sprayground is aiming to expand on the typical perception of graffiti and street art and gives artists a new outlet for artistic expression.

In the US, FAB has already signed up for the bag categoryy, while Pyramid will produce posters. Additional deals for the t-shirt and footwear categories are due to be announced shortly. The company is also targeting headwear, flip flops, outerwear and loungewear.

"We are delighted to represent this unusual property and are pleased to report that we have concluded negotiations for our first European licence in the teens bag and back to school category in Portugal," said Cathleen Titus, VP of international licensing for King Features.

Visitors to Brand Licensing Europe next month will be able to find out more about Sprayground on the Allsorts booth (450).
