America's Next Top Model moves into Korea

FremantleMedia and CBS seal first merchandising deal for property in territory.

CBS Consumer Products and FremantleMedia Enterprises have completed the first ever Asian merchandising deal for America's Next Top Model in Korea.

FME represents the brand on behalf of CBS throughout Asia Pacific (excluding Japan). Master licensee Infiniss will be creating a range of seasonal apparel and has sub-licensed to HS International, which will release the products via home shopping channel, CJ O Shopping.

The ANTM collections will be sub-divided into four seasonal themes - summer/vacation, autumn/full moon, Christmas and New Year/party.

Infiniss is also planning to introduce new categories including sportswear, cosmetics, denims and t-shirts.

"We are extremely excited to see the America's Next Top Model brand extend further off screen with its first merchandising deal in Asia," said Liz Kalodner, executive VP and general manager of CBS Consumer Products. "Furthermore, the CJO Shopping Network is a great distribution channel and an effective way to sell and promote strong brands."
