Coolabi is further expanding its Poppy Cat pre-school brand, signing up a brace of new licensing deals.
The firm will work with Studio Liddell to produce the first Poppy Cat app for Apple and Android smartphones and tablets. It will be available in English-speaking territories from next month.
In addition, Coolabi has expanded its agreement with publishing partner Redan to include Poppy Cat in the first Fun to Learn Friends Annual, launching in the UK in August next year.
Poppy Cat currently features in Redan's Fun to Learn Friends magazine.
"Poppy Cat's appeal continues to grow in the UK and internationally, and we are excited to be able to develop the range of products we can offer to the show's audience," said Natasha Dyson, head of licensing at Coolabi. "We are especially thrilled to be taking Poppy Cat further into the digital space with the new app launching this summer."
The first wave of Poppy Cat products hit the shelves in the UK this summer, and will include toys from Golden Bear and Jumbo, TV tie in books from Macmillan and apparel from Aykroyds and TDP.
