APPAREL MONTH: Big & Small welcomes new lines
Kindle Entertainment and Start Licensing are continuing to build the merchandise programme for pre-school hit Big & Small, with a key focus being expansion in the apparel category.
A three-year deal has been secured with Fashion UK for apparel and outerwear including t-shirts and hooded sweatshirts. Fashion UK is currently designing a variety of tees, aimed at both boys and girls and featuring the main characters from the show.
It is in discussions with a number of major retailers, with the products due to launch in-store for late 2010.
Kindle has also signed a multi-year deal with C&M Licensing, a joint venture between Cooneen and Misirli, to produce Big & Small nightwear and underwear for boys and girls.
The ranges are currently in early development and are due to hit UK retail in the autumn.
