Global brand extension agency, Beanstalk has appointed a new chief executive officer as co-founder and CEO Michael Stone takes on the role of Chairman.
Allison Ames has stepped into the role where she will oversee the strategic direction of the global agency and lead both its growth and the growth of its clients across the globe.
Ames will retain her current position as president while assuming the title of CEO. She succeeds Stone who now takes on the role as Chairman.
“It has been a privilege to serve as CEO of Beanstalk for the past ten years, following the acquisition of the agency by Omnicom,” said Stone.
“I am extremely proud of the entire team and our achievements. This agency is the embodiment of creativity, tenacity and success and I look forward to helping it continue to flourish under Allison’s leadership.”
Having worked alongside Stone for almost two decades, Ames has helped create and develop some of the agency’s most successful licensing programmes.
“I am extremely honoured to take the helm as CEO,” said Ames. “I am proud to call Michael a mentor and a colleague. Over the past 18 years, I have not only learned from Michael’s successful experience and accomplishments in the licensing world but we have worked together to shape the agency into the culture it is today.
“Beanstalk is synonymous with strategic brand extension through licensing, a testament to the vision and expertise that Michael brought to bear on behalf of the agency and the impact he has had on the entire industry.”
