Children's wear firm Green Eyed Monster has rolled out a collection of clothing featuring designs based on the stills from The Beatles' animated film Yellow Submarine.
The range has been licensed by Caroline Mickler Ltd - which is implementing the Beatles brand licensing strategy on behalf of Apple Corps. It will be available through the Green Eyed Monster online store and in a number of high-end and specialist retail outlets in the UK.
There are four designs: two t-shirts featuring the cartoon faces of the Fab Four, one t-shirt featuring the famous cartoon vessel itself and a white puffed sleeve smock including a multi-coloured Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds print and rhinestone diamonds.
"Nearly 40 years since they were first seen, the images from this colourful and original film remain fresh and appealing," said Alexandra Tham, company director at Green Eyed Monster. "That's why the reaction to this range, even from children born decades after the film first appeared, has been fantastic. We're delighted to be able to bring these wonderful images to our children's wear."
Caroline Mickler added: "The Yellow Submarine range underlines the continuing appeal both of the Beatles themselves and of the amazing imagery they inspired. However, it also underlines the skillful and sympathetic way in which these images have been adapted to children's wear."
