Big Bocca Productions has added to the Huntik licensing programme, signing up Blues Clothing as apparel licensee in the UK.

Blues will be developing and manufacturing an extensive range of Huntik themed children's outerwear, leisurewear, swimwear, underwear and nightwear, with the apparel beginning to roll out from September 2010.

Blues is the latest licensee to join the Huntik programme, which has been steadily growing. Upper Deck launched the Huntik trading card game and toy line earlier this year, while 2010 will see a range of new products launched including a monthly magazine, a full line of collectible mini figurines and sticker albums from Panini, a Huntik Nintendo DS title from Rainbow Media and a DVD from E1.

"We are extremely proud to have secured our agreement with Big Bocca and look forward to developing exciting apparel collections," said Patrick Bailey, commercial director at Blues Clothing.

Marie-Laure Marchand, MD of Big Bocca, added: "Securing key licensing categories with market leaders will help us achieve massive exposure at retail and we are pleased to partner with such a highly renowned apparel licensee in the UK."

Blues Clothing

Blues Clothing already has a solid 30-year+ history in the licensed apparel sector, however a management buy out last year (backed by Penta Capital and Allied Irish Bank) means that it now has the extra clout to push even further into the market.
