Bravado has appointed Christine Calip Victor to the role of SVP business development, business and legal affairs.

As a member of Bravado’s senior leadership team, Calip Victor will focus on external business development and strategy, driving new brand and artist relationships, while providing legal support to the company’s global roster.

She will be based in New York and report to Mat Vlasic, chief executive officer of Bravado.

“Bravado is quickly evolving from a traditional merchandise shop to a world-leading brand management company,” said Vlasic.

“Christine is a seasoned executive whose work experience will allow us to continue to expand, innovate and create campaigns and programmes to super serve our artists and their creative vision.”

Bringing more than a decade of legal experience to Bravado, Calip Victor has most recently served as senior vice president of business and legal affairs for Universal Music Group’s East Coast Labels.

“What Bravado has already accomplished under Mat’s leadership makes this a truly exciting time to join the company,” said Calip Victor.

“I am thankful to Mat for this opportunity and I am looking forward to working with him and the talented team at Bravado, while exploring new opportunities to grow our business.

“I would also like to thank Monte and Avery Lipman for their support over the years and Steve Gawley, who’s been the world’s greatest coach.”
