Bulldog Licensing has brokered a deal with BCI that will see the apparel firm extend its popular line of Monkey clothing.
The firm already produces T-shirts, nightwear and underwear based on the popular character, famed for his role in the PG Tips adverts.
BCI now hopes to build on the popularity with new lines featuring in retailers such as Next and New Look.
“BCI enjoys great distribution with the existing Monkey line and people simply can’t get enough of it, so it makes sense to extend the deal and capitalize on the Monkey-mania that’s sweeping the UK,” said Bulldog Group managing director, Rob Corney.
The latest extention with BCI bolsters the brand’s apparel portfolio, with Aykroyds and Poeticgem also on board.
Other licensees include Igloo for publishing, Danilo for greetings and calendars, BB Designs for gift ranges and Roy Lowe and Sons for socks.
