Bulldog signs publishing partners for Shopkins

Pedigree Books and DJ Murphy team with the licensing firm to launch Shopkins inspired publications this year.

Bulldog Licensing has secured a raft of new UK publishing licensees for its hit collectables property, Shopkins.

The new deals have been secured less than two months after the launch of the property last year.

Independent publishing house DJ Murphy will be delivering a new Shopkins magazine to retailers across the UK and Eire, while Pedigree Books is planning a collection of annuals across the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and South Africa.

The newcomers join an already burgeoning roster of licensees that includes Scholastic who will be bringing a range of titles to market this year.

Aimed a girls aged five upwards, DJ Murphy’s shopkins magazine is scheduled for early spring and will feature stories, games, cartoons and competitions based on Apple Blossom, strawberry Kiss, Pineapple Crush and other Shopkins favourites.

Meanwhile, the Pedigree Shopkins Annuals will include the traditional winter title available from October, as well as seasonal activity editions and bumper packs for the spring and summer market.

The publications will feature profiles, brand information, activities, games, quizzes, colouring and more.
