Brand licensing agency Beanstalk has revealed a plethora of licensing deals and acquisitions ahead of next week's Brand Licensing Europe.
The company has welcomed hit iPhone app brand Doodle Jump to its client roster. Lima Sky has appointed Beanstalk to expand Doodle Jump into UK licensed products including apparel, accessories and publishing.
Beanstalk will also extend the Energizer and Eveready power brands' licensing programmes to Europe. It will work on licensed product deals that demonstrate the brands' status as 'leaders in power and charging'.
Finally, Beanstalk has announced a number of licensing agreements for its client Matthew Williamson, the British fashion designer.
TLG Brands will work with Matthew Williamson to design, manufacture and distribute a full lifestyle offering of women’s handbags, GMI Corp USA will develop a range of women’s footwear under the Matthew Williamson brand, and Osborne & Little have been secured to develop an exclusive range of furnishing fabrics and wallpapers in collaboration with Matthew Williamson.
Matthew Williamson said: “We’re a brand that now has a rich DNA. There’s a history, there’s an archive and there’s a real sense — both from a creative point of view and a business perspective — that the categories feel right."
Martin Burch, Director Marketing and Strategic Planning for Energizer, added: “Licensing is increasingly becoming a key growth area for the Energizer brand and we are looking forward to taking this to the next level in Europe through our partnership with Beanstalk, whose international capabilities bring regional expertise and strength to this global programme.”
Eric Karp, Chief Licensing Officer for Lima Sky, commented: “Beanstalk is the gold standard in licensing brand management. We at Lima Sky are thrilled to be working with Beanstalk to bring the world of Doodle Jump to life on merchandise for the game’s millions of UK fans.”
Beanstalk will be present at BLE 2012 from October 16th to 18th at stand E060.
