Bedroom makeover specialist Character World is to produce a range of furnishings for the three armed forces, after striking a deal with HM Armed Forces (in association with the Ministry of Defence).

The ambitious firm has secured the licence to produce bedroom products including duvet covers, curtains, fleece blankets, cushions and rugs for the Royal Navy, Army and Royal Air Force.

Retail listings has already been secured in outlets including Littlewoods and Grattan.

"The idea of the Armed Forces has appealed to kids through the generations," said Tim Kilby, licensing and marketing manager at Character World. "The new range of products is designed to celebrate our Armed Forces and boost the profile of our serving troops.

"The new licence is a great addition to our kids portfolio and will sit well alongside other brands such as Power Rangers, Clone Wars, Peppa Pig and iCarly."
