Character World has launched an exclusive range of bedding and accessories inspired by the hit collectable brand, Shopkins.
The licensed product specialist has developed a full collection including single duvet sets, shaped cushions, ponchos and towels, available to retailers across the UK.
Shopkins is a range inspired by items found in the aisles of the grocery store and was first introduced by Australian toy firm Moose Toys last summer.
The property has gone on to enjoy vast global success, and more than 65 million Shopkins products have since been sold in 50 countries. It is now estimated that over five million Shopkins are produced every week.
“Shopkins is definitely one of the hottest properties in the market at the moment, especially in the girls’ licensing arena, although boys are also buying into the brand,” said Tim Kilby, brand director at Character World.
“The brand has grown exponentially since its launch last year and shows no sign of slowing down with a third season recently confirmed.
“Shopkins products are hugely collectable due to the regular release of new characters. With retailers and consumers demanding more and more merchandise to satisfy the growing appetite for this fun brand, I can see this licence having a long term impact.”
Shopkins now joins a burgeoning portfolio of girls’ licences under the Character World banner, including Disney’s Frozen, My Little Pony, Doc McStuffin, Disney Princess and Peppa Pig.
