Character World has expanded its worldwide operations with the opening of two new offices in China.
The company has decided on the key areas of Guangzhou and Hangzhou in China to open the international offices, which will employ 16 local people in total.
The role of the offices is to ensure quality control, track orders and source products. The move builds on the two outlets Character World bought in Pakistan in 2006 and now employ ten people.
"Our offices make use of the latest technology and a wealth of local knowledge," said Danny Schweiger, director at Character World. "The move demonstrates Character World's strong position in the licensing sector. All four of the international offices ensure our factories meet the strict standards that customers and licensors expect."
Character World is one of the UK's leading licensed household textile companoes, producing goods featuring a number of popular children's brands including Disney Princess, Roary the Racing Car, High School Musical, Thomas, Dora the Explorer and The Simpsons.
