CHF Entertainment’s new pre-animation Magic Marlon will first air on Channel 5’s Milkshake, in spring/summer 2016.

An original concept from John Offord, Magic Marlon is the latest series from the studio behind the likes of Dangermouse, The BFG and Wind in the Willows.

Set in an unique shop on quite an ordinary high street in the unremarkable town of Gigglesworth, Magic Marlon follows the adventures of Marlon as he learns the tricks of his Dad’s trade which is mending things, with magic.

Jessica Symons, head of children’s television at Channel 5 commented: “We're looking forward to introducing Magic Marlon and his fantastic friends to the Milkshake audience next year. Viewers can expect the unexpected from this spectacular series where mending has never been more fun.”

Simon Hall, managing director of CHF Entertainment added: “We are delighted to be working with Channel 5 on our second major animated series to come out of our new studio, Magic Marlon.”

“The three to six age group is an important audience for our shows and also the most demanding,” Hall continued. “We believe that Magic Marlon has the right ingredients to become a very successful series.”

Helen Brown, producer of Magic Marlon stated: “We’ve created an exciting, wacky character with stories that take our audience on an exciting adventure into a world of magic. Our cast of characters fulfil the tried and tested formula for success, they’re sincere and engaging but above all energetic and humorous, which our audience will relate to.”
